Yes. Under Florida House Bill 683, which went into effect on July 1, 2025, private providers are now permitted to use software and automated systems to conduct plan reviews. PlanCheckPro.AI meets the legal criteria for such tools, as it assesses compliance with applicable codes (e.g., FBC, NEC) and generates verifiable reports that can be submitted as part of the permit package.

PlanCheckPro.AI operates under the regulatory framework of HB 683, which requires municipalities in Florida to accept private provider software-based reviews. While no centralized “approval” is required or issued by each AHJ, we actively ensure our reports meet or exceed submittal requirements across Florida jurisdictions.

PlanCheckPro.AI integrates seamlessly into your existing workflow. You simply upload your PDF construction drawings via our secure web portal. Within hours, you receive a report detailing code violations and recommended corrective actions. You can incorporate this feedback directly into your plans before submission to AHJs, or during design/bidding, or attach the report to your permit package if filing as a private provider.

We currently accept multi-page PDF files of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings. All files are scanned for threats and encrypted on upload.

Yes. While our base models are trained on the Florida Building Code and National Electric Code, we support rule-set extensions for jurisdiction-specific overlays, zoning criteria, and special district requirements. Enterprise users or AHJs can request customized code logic to be built into their dashboard.

The system does ADA reviews, additional modules are in development.

When revised drawings are uploaded, the system performs a differential analysis against previous versions, identifying what has changed and how it affects code compliance. This reduces repetitive review effort and flags any new code violations introduced during revisions. A change log is included in the output report.

We offer onboarding support, live demos, and dedicated account managers for enterprise clients. Our helpdesk includes training videos, documentation, and a live chat option during business hours. Custom training sessions and certification for in-house teams are also available on request.
